Ponder & Best marketed this family of preset T mount lenses as the Compatible T System.The lenses in this family were made by several different manufacturers. The Type 1 manufacturer has been confirmed to be Tokina by Bill Swinyard, the Ponder & Best Product Manager from 1969-1971.The Type 3 manufacturer is known to be Kino Precision. A few models were still being sold after the switch to a unified serial number system, providing further confirmation of manufactures listed here.
